Job summary

The Ann Savannah, Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy in Savannah, GA, seeks a Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the property's commercial strategy and revenue growth. You will drive new business, expand partnerships, and mentor a sales team while delivering a guest-focused experience that reflects Savannah’s Hostess City identity and Sage Hospitality's service standards.

You will manage account development, ecommerce initiatives, and market strategy to maximize occupancy and profitability,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of hotel sales management experience.
• 3-5 years sales management experience; knowledge of yield management and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue goals by growing new and current hotel accounts.
• Lead direct reports to achieve sales goals and responsibilities.
• Direct sales: appointment-oriented calls; valid driver's license required.
• Key account management to identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Develop new account development plans to create revenue.
• Plan and implement ecommerce and internet marketing strategies.
• Promote the brand story to increase property profitability.
• Maintain knowledge of competition and current sales techniques.
• Yield management: negotiate rates and space to improve financial performance.
• Develop strong customer relations and maintain an effective trace system.
