Job summary

Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District seeks a results-driven Director of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing sales team across multiple properties. You will drive new business, nurture key accounts, and coordinate with revenue management to optimize market share.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in hotel sales, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hotel, business or marketing is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager in hospitality.
• Experience dealing with ownership groups and asset management.
• Proficiency with sales automation tools and PMS systems.
• Strong collaboration with revenue management and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and mentor the sales team.
• Solicit, negotiate and book new business through direct sales.
• Grow existing relationships to expand current accounts.
• Capture client vision and convey needs to hotels.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from clients.
• Develop rapport with industry partners like the CVB.
• Meet weekly sales goals and manage team pipeline.
• Plan annual marketing and sales activity and accounts.
• Support management with financial reporting.
• Collaborate with all departments to meet hotel goals.
