Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) in Groton, CT, manages one or more NHG Lodging facilities to ensure performance within NHG guidelines. The incumbent reports to an NHG Regional Vice President and oversees hotel-like operations for TDY, PCS, or Leisure guests.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, supervising staff, managing budgets, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality guest services using NHG systems and local resources.

Qualifications

• 5 years of general experience in administrative/operational roles.
• Specialized experience in hotel/motel or institutional management.

Responsibilities

• Operates a DoD lodging operation aligned with NHG guidelines.
• Coordinates maintenance and facilities improvements.
• Manages budgets, forecasts revenues and expenses, and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintains guest relations and ensures timely responses to inquiries and complaints.
• Utilizes NHG PMS and CORE-HMS for reservations and inventory management.
• Markets the NHG program using approved channels.
