Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) at Great Lakes is hiring for a front desk/guest services role within Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and Navy Lodge properties. You will manage reservations, check-in/check-out, payments, and provide excellent guest service.

You will operate the PMS, answer inquiries, and ensure safety and privacy of guests while maintaining lobby standards. Expect a dynamic environment with day-one benefits and federal pay structures, with opportunities to support military

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship required or have lived in the U.S. for three years

Responsibilities

Welcoming guests with a positive attitude and providing information about lodging facilities and local attractions
Assist guests with room reservations, check-in/check-out, and related payments
Operate a multi-line telephone system and front desk computer systems (PMS) to manage reservations and guest records
Register and assign rooms, issue keys/cards, and manage guest accounts and receipts
Maintain front desk appearance, lobby safety, and inventory of keys and supplies
Coordinate with Front Office Manager/AGM and other staff on guest issues and group reservations
May train Front Desk staff and assist in policy compliance and per brand standards
Process cancellations and changes to reservations and handle guest requests or complaints
