Guest Services, Inc. at Bear Mountain, NY is seeking a Front Desk Agent to check guests in/out, handle reservations and operate the switchboard. You will greet guests and assist with inquiries while coordinating with housekeeping for smooth arrivals and departures.

The role requires a High School Diploma, strong customer service, and computer/POS proficiency. You’ll balance cash at shift end and upsell room rates where appropriate, delivering welcoming service in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, some advanced studies preferred.
• Typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records.
• Ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously and coordinate reservations.
• Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and other communications skills.

Mansioni

• Check guests and vendors in/out and manage reservations.
• Provide quotes for room rates and upsell where possible.
• Balance cash and charges at shift start/end and ensure accuracy of folio postings.
• Coordinate Front Desk with Housekeeping and respond to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority or refer to management.
