Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Front Desk Agent at Bear Mountain, NY. The role handles guest and vendor check-in/out, reservations, and switchboard operations. Strong customer service is required and shifts may be long with standing at times.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma (advanced studies preferred), be proficient with reservation systems, and demonstrate multitasking, communication, and problem-solving abilities in a hospitality setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, some advanced studies preferred.
• Typing, filing, office machine operations, cash register operation, maintenance of records, and ability to multitask.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Provide administrative, reception and program support to management and staff.
• Manage phone activity and provide general knowledge to callers.
• Manage walk-in traffic; sign in customers as needed; greet and assist.
• Register and assign rooms to guests using the reservation system; upsell when possible.
• Assist in coordinating the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments.
• Verify charges and credits on guest folios; collect payments.
• Ensure cash and cash equivalents are balanced at shift start/end.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints within scope of authority.
