Job summary

Gateway Search Associates seeks an onsite Financial Controller to lead local accounting operations and drive financial excellence for a hospitality group in Pocono Manor. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller will oversee monthly close, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll for 1,000+ associates, while mentoring the accounting team.

Strong communication and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in hospitality and multi-property management.
Proficiency in Office 365, advanced Excel, hospitality PMS and payroll systems.
Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across leadership levels.
Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and monthly close.
Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard cash flow and assets.
Partner with departments for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cost-control initiatives.
Supervise and develop the onsite accounting team.
