Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–10 years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.
• Hospitality accounting experience preferred for multi-property environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
• Ability to lead and develop accounting staff and collaborate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly/annual financial statements and close processes.

This role oversees financial reporting, accounting operations, payroll administration, internal controls, and team leadership while supporting senior finance leadership and operational department heads.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Close

• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance and structured closing processes.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Deliver meaningful variance analysis and financial insights to leadership.

Accounting Operations Leadership

• Ensure timely, accurate processing of financial transactions.
• Maintain strong accounting practices and operational support.
• Direct daily operations across AP, AR, income audit, night audit, payroll, and management reporting.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Review journal entries and support internal/external audits.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement scalable process improvements.

Payroll Oversight

• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payment.
• Maintain payroll records and support payroll‑related audits.
• Oversee payroll processing for a large employee population.

Team Leadership

• Support professional growth and operational excellence.
• Manage, train, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff.
• Foster a collaborative, hands‑on, team‑oriented work environment.

Business Partnership

• Collaborate with department leaders and senior management.
• Provide financial insights to support operational and organizational goals.
• Participate in meetings, cross‑functional initiatives, and special projects.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Proficiency with Office 365.
• Experience with accounting and payroll systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ethical judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership of accounting operations and finance staff.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• 5–10 years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.
• Experience managing financials for multiple properties or complex multi‑unit operations.
• Strongly preferred: hospitality accounting experience (resort, hotel, casino, or multi‑property environment)
• Equivalent experience is considered for candidates with strong hospitality accounting backgrounds.

Work Environment:
