Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a detail-oriented Controller for the Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center to oversee financial operations and reporting for a select group of hotels. You will protect assets, deliver timely financial data, and support sound business decisions through strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel accounting, finance, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong grasp of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and systems.
• Ability to lead, train and communicate effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Protect assets through effective financial controls and oversight.
• Produce timely financial statements and reports for ownership and management.
• Supervise accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and department efficiency.
• Oversee the ledger including reconciliations and collections.
• Respond to guest billing questions and conduct financial research.
• Train Accounting team members to maximize performance and compliance.
• Communicate openly with associates and leaders across departments.
• Prepare and submit all federal, state, and local reports per laws and SOPs.
• Support period-end close and generate end-of-period reports.
