Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, seeks a dynamic Controller to join our team. You will support hotel operations, deliver exceptional service, and help achieve operational and business goals.

The Accounting position maintains financial records, processes transactions, prepares reports, and supports internal controls while protecting company assets and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting, finance, or business degree preferred depending on the role.
• Previous accounting, finance, hotel, or related experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work accurately with numbers and financial information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.

Responsabilités

• Process, review, and reconcile financial transactions and records.
• Prepare routine financial reports, schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash, or general ledger activity as assigned.
• Investigate discrepancies and communicate issues to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities as assigned.
• Follow internal controls, approval processes, and company accounting policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial, associate, guest, and company information.
• Communicate effectively with hotel departments, vendors, associates, and management.
• Support audits and provide documentation as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
