Job summary

HireReady Partners is seeking a Resort Controller to lead the accounting functions of a fast-paced hospitality operation. You will report to the Director of Finance, manage daily accounting, and oversee payroll for 1,000+ associates while maintaining strong internal controls.

You will collaborate with resort leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements, and mentor the Finance team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Five to ten years of progressive Finance or Accounting experience.
• Hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with statements prep, reconciliation and analysis.
• Experience leading accounting operations and developing professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations and payroll for 1,000+ associates.
• Produce monthly and annual financial statements and close processes.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Provide meaningful financial insight to resort leadership.
• Partner with department leaders and executive team on operational goals.
• Identify and implement scalable process improvements.
