Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a Controller for Mardi Gras Casino at Cross Lanes, WV. You will oversee all financial and reporting functions, including accounting, planning, audit support, and cash management, collaborating with managers at all levels.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hospitality accounting, CPA preferred, and a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance. Prior PeopleSoft/Hyperion experience is highly valued. Benefits include strong retirement options and growth potential.

Qualifications

• CPA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Strong knowledge of inventory controls, internal controls, audits, and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and approve daily sales reports, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Analyze and report variances, monthly financial projections, and month-end accounting reports; oversee audit requirements.
• Oversee cash management and ensure segregation of duties.
• Control and direct inventory; validate the accuracy of inventory variance.
• Implement and enforce internal controls; ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the annual plan budget and financial forecast with the General Manager.
• Analyze and interpret accounting information to assess operating results and profitability.
