Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) is seeking a Facilities Manager based in Boston with travel to Detroit. The role is 20% hands‑on and 80% collaboration with Facilities Vendor Partners, interfacing with operations staff to plan for current and future needs.

You will manage maint/capital projects, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with vendors to deliver safe, efficient restaurant environments across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Facilities Management experience or equivalent construction project management/trade experience.
• Experience in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical or handywork is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and work in tight places.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Diplomatic communication skills with a high level of integrity.

Responsabilités

• Support on site operations teams with facilities upkeep and improvements to maintain safe and efficient restaurants.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as painting and minor repairs.
• Review locations proactively to identify current and future maintenance needs.
• Manage capital improvement projects from planning to completion with vendor quotes and oversight.
• Ensure facilities are in code and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor vendor/contractor performance and timely invoicing.
• Communicate with operations staff and contracted service providers for repairs.
• Provide on‑site support, including after hours or weekend visits as needed.
