Job summary

Valley Forge Fabrics is seeking an Account Manager in the Chicago area to continue our tradition of hospitality industry leadership. You will serve as a trusted advisor to designers, owners, brands, and purchasing firms, supporting projects from concept through installation with our project managers and product specialists.

You will travel regularly, build relationships, present new collections, and help expand existing client relationships while delivering best-in-class service and innovative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in hospitality sales/design/project management or related hospitality interior FF&E sales.
• Must be socially savvy and comfortable entertaining clients and networking outside of normal hours.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
• Present products using samples and presentations, emphasizing design, function, sustainability and performance.
• Coordinate with inside sales and project management to keep account activities current.
• Develop and maintain relationships with design, specification and purchasing contacts.
• Investigate and resolve challenges with samples, purchase orders and deliveries.
