Job summary

Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily operations, mentor a service team, and uphold our high standards of hospitality. You will coordinate shifts, train staff, manage guest requests, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in food and beverage service, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, and guest-focus.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, health and safety standards, and POS/inventory systems.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth service in all F&B areas.
• Assist with staff scheduling, supply orders, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Address guest concerns and handle special requests for high guest satisfaction.
• Lead by example to deliver exceptional service and teamwork.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff for seamless service.
• Inspect dining and bar areas for cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and event support.
