Job summary

Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily service operations and mentor the team. You will coordinate shifts, train staff, and uphold high standards of quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires 2+ years in F&B, supervisory experience preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. On-site position with growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food handling and safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of basic POS and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service in all food and beverage areas.
• Assist the management team with staff scheduling, supply orders, and inventory control.
• Ensure team compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Address guest concerns, handle special requests, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Lead by example, delivering exceptional service to create a positive guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless and timely service.
• Inspect dining and bar areas for cleanliness, organization, and preparedness.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including workstation setup and cleanliness.
• Support special events and group bookings, ensuring successful execution.
