Embassy Suites Asheville Downtown is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily operations, mentor a service team, and uphold our high standards of hospitality. You will coordinate shifts, train staff, manage guest requests, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, organizational skills, and a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in food and beverage service, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization, and guest-focus.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, health and safety standards, and POS/inventory systems.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure team compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Address guest concerns, handle special requests, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Lead by example, delivering exceptional service to create a positive guest experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless and timely service.
• Inspect dining and bar areas for cleanliness, organization, and preparedness.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including workstation setup and cleanliness.
• Support special events and group bookings, ensuring successful execution.

What You’ll Need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food handling and safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of basic POS and inventory systems.
