Job summary

Paséa Hotel & Spa – Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking an Engineering Manager to assist the Director of Engineering in overseeing all engineering operations and staff. You will ensure safe, efficient resort facilities, lead maintenance programs, and drive cost-effective reliability across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Facility Management is desired.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible hotel or building maintenance/facilities management experience.
• One year as Chief Engineer or Engineering Supervisor in a similar setting.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and energy management.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director of Engineering in managing all engineering activities.
• Inspects facilities for maintenance needs and supervises hiring and training.
• Oversees budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, policy implementation, and energy management.
• Ensures safety and compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
• Maintains equipment and coordinates maintenance contracts with vendors.
