Job summary

Remington Hospitality seeks an Area Chief Engineer to lead the engineering and maintenance operations for a portfolio of Phoenix-area hotels. Based at the DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown, you will provide strategic direction, oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and drive maintenance excellence across 1 full-service and 3 limited-service properties.

Qualifications

• Extensive hotel or commercial building engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, pool, and life-safety systems.
• Proven leadership, planning, and mentoring abilities across multiple properties.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of maintenance and engineering operations across multiple Phoenix-area properties.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance programs.
• Manage budgets, inspections, and capital projects for the portfolio.
• Recruit, train, and develop property-level engineering teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with fire/life-safety codes and brand standards.
• Establish engineering standards and performance metrics across properties.
