Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Phoenix is seeking an Area Chief Engineer to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of multiple hotel properties in the Phoenix area. Based at the DoubleTree Phoenix Midtown, this role provides engineering leadership, technical expertise, and operational support for a portfolio of properties.

The ideal candidate has extensive hotel engineering experience, strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, and a track record of building

Qualifications

• Extensive hotel or commercial building engineering experience with strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing knowledge.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities across multiple properties.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and oversight of maintenance and engineering operations across multiple hotel properties.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintaining hotel mechanical systems including HVAC, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, pool, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with fire/life-safety, codes, and brand standards.
• Recruiting and developing property-level engineering teams.
• Managing vendor relationships and capital budget planning.
• Conducting regular property inspections and controlling maintenance costs.
