Job summary

PM Hotel Group is seeking a Director of Engineering for Homewood Suites in Franklin, TN. The role oversees hotel maintenance and capital projects, ensuring optimal guest comfort and property condition.

You will lead maintenance staff, coordinate with department heads, and drive preventive programs while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. On-site, full-time with opportunity to implement proactive improvements and cost-saving measures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in hotel maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and safety compliance.
• Ability to lead a team and manage capital projects.
• Strong communication with hotel department heads and ability to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Lead, manage and communicate information about capital projects and property rehabilitation.
• Coordinate with hotel department heads to address maintenance needs and ensure timely responses.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and lead maintenance staff.
