Qualifications

• 6 months – 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience.
• Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklist.
• Ability to maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
• Ability to identify and report needed repairs to the parking lot and sidewalks.

Responsibilities

• Handle all equipment repairs – coordinating with vendors, gathering bids, and presenting for approval.
• Complete monthly maintenance inventory and submit supply orders to General Managers.
• Conduct room preventive maintenance with maintenance personnel.
• Track room PMs accurately and ensure quarterly completion for both hotels.
• Provide daily coverage for maintenance duties during call-offs or vacations.
• Maintain pool and spa areas in compliance with State and City regulations.
• Maintain and repair plumbing and electrical systems and replace worn parts such as switches and fuses.
• Oversee housekeeping and assist with moving furniture as needed.
• Maintain records of key control changes and logs.
