Job summary

Bistecca Steakhouse & Wine Bar is seeking an experienced Server in Washington, PA. You will be the face of our restaurant, building rapport with guests, answering menu questions, taking orders, and serving food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities include hospitality, opening/closing sidework, menu knowledge, guiding guests through dinner and wine options, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide all guests with exceptional hospitality.
• Perform opening and closing sidework.
• Food and beverage menu knowledge.
• Guide guests through dinner, features and wine menus.
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation.
• Receive orders and provide ways to enhance guest experience.
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff.
• Take orders from customers for food and beverages and provide timely service.
• Provide all aspects of table service and clearing.
• Present guests with checks and process payment.
