Job summary

Pollo Tropical in Florida is seeking a team member to greet customers, take orders, relay orders to the kitchen, and assist with cooking, packaging and service. You will stock supplies, keep the dining and kitchen areas clean, and ensure compliance with safety and alcohol laws where applicable.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, multitask efficiently, learn POS systems, and deliver friendly, fast service in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and thank customers.
• Place customer food and beverage orders via verbal communication and/or automated systems.
• Relay orders from service counter to kitchen operations.
• Cook, prepare, package and pour food and beverages using kitchen equipment.
• Stock kitchen and service areas with supplies.
• Stock salsa bars with sauces, condiments, and utensils.
• Handle payments and return change at the register.
• Unload deliveries of food, beverage, and supplies.
• Clean interior and exterior areas of the restaurant.
• Observe alcoholic beverage laws where applicable.
• Maintain safe public access to the restaurant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
