Job summary

Swickard Honda of Thousand Oaks is seeking a Sales Consultant to welcome guests, guide them through vehicle selection, demonstrate features, and build lasting relationships. You don't need automotive experience, but you do need a genuine hospitality mindset and a drive to serve guests with integrity.

You'll collaborate with finance, manage CRM-driven follow-ups, and aim to exceed monthly targets while representing Honda and Swickard's hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive sales experience preferred -- but not required
• Proven success and experience in sales, hospitality, retail, or guest-facing service
• Natural communicator who listens well, builds trust quickly, and follows through
• Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a team-first attitude

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism -- making every interaction feel personal, not transactional
• Guide guests through the vehicle selection process with confidence, curiosity, and care
• Present and demonstrate vehicles in a way that connects features to what actually matters to the guest
• Build and maintain a pipeline of guest relationships through consistent follow-up and CRM discipline
• Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a seamless, low-pressure purchase experience
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining high guest satisfaction scores
• Represent the Honda brand and Swickard's hospitality standards in every conversation
