Job summary

Morrison Living in New York is seeking a Dining Services Manager I to lead a team of food service professionals, oversee the main dining room and special functions, and ensure exceptional guest service aligned with the facility plan. You will partner with the Chef and management to create menus, monitor budgets and P&L, support sustainable food practices, and drive revenue through menu quality and service.

This role requires hands-on leadership, staff training, and coordination with marketing

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Wait staff and catering experience preferred.
• Hospitality mindset with focus on sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dining services operations of a small to medium location.
• Interacts with customers and resolves complaints.
• Assists with budgeting and P&L related to this account.
• Collaborates with Chef and management on menus and food quality.
• Supports rollout of culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
• Prepares quarterly reports for client presentation.
