Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Utility to assist in dining room and kitchen operations at our Sherman community. You will help with meal prep cleanup, serve meals, and ensure hospitality and cleanliness for residents and guests.

Six months of kitchen experience and a valid food handler's permit are preferred; good communication and the ability to multi-task are essential for delivering high-quality service in a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Must hold a valid food handler's permit as required locally.

Responsibilities

• Collect dishes and utensils from tables during meals.
• Wash dishes and utensils to high cleanliness standards.
• Monitor dishwasher temperature and report readings to supervisor.
• Remove damaged dishes/utensils and notify Culinary Director.
• Store dishes properly for use at the next meal.
• Set up tables and beverage station; refill salt/pepper/sugar.
• Assist in meal service and deliver to residents' rooms as needed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas; deep-clean monthly.
