Job summary

Sagora is seeking a dedicated Utility at Spring Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care to support dining room operations and kitchen cleanup. You will assist the Culinary Director, ensure cleanliness, and serve meals to residents with care and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have basic kitchen experience, a food handler’s permit, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Texas community.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of experience in a commercial kitchen operation is preferred.
• Must have food handler’s permit as required by state and/or local authority.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect dishes and kitchen utensils from tables during mealtimes.
• Wash dishes and utensils, ensuring highest cleanliness standards.
• Monitor dishwasher temperature daily and report any issues to Culinary Director.
• Set up tables and beverage station; refill salt, pepper, sugar.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and courteously; deliver to rooms as needed.
• Dispose of trash properly and deep-clean kitchen monthly.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors and walk-in areas nightly.
