Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is hiring for a Utility at Asher Point of Waco to support dining room and kitchen cleanup operations. You will help guarantee hospitality, service, and resident satisfaction by handling dishwashing, serving meals, and coordinating with the Culinary Director.

Qualifications

• Six months or more of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must have a food handler’s permit as required by state/local authority.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect dishes and kitchen utensils from the tables during mealtimes.
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils, assuring highest standards of cleanliness.
• Eliminate stains from all utensils.
• Monitor the temperature of the dishwashing machine on a daily basis and report issues to Culinary Director.
• Remove damaged dishes or utensils and notify the Culinary Director.
• Store dishes, glassware, and utensils properly for the next mealtime.
• Set up tables and beverage station; refill salt, pepper, and sugar dispensers.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly manner; deliver to rooms as needed.
• Dispose of trash properly; keep the kitchen clean during shifts.
