Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Hospitality Construction Management Company. Candidate must possess 3-5 years of hospitality/hotel experience. You will be responsible for management of construction projects including, but not limited to overseeing renovations and new ground-up projects. This includes overseeing the project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of hotel renovations at different stages of the project.

We also offer compensation for all projects that are brought to us while with H-CPM.

Responsibilities:

• Create valuable team environment resources for assigned projects
• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to completion
• Allocate time over multiple projects simultaneously
• Participate in the selection of the team
• Oversee contractors, architects, procurement engineers, and interface with clients, project inspectors, city, and county officials
• Negotiate with contractors, designers, and vendors on behalf of ownership
• Ability to travel 35% or more
• Working remotely from a home office

Qualifications:

• Hospitality experience a must!
• Maintain high standards of workmanship
• Self-starter and quick thinker
• BA/BS degree in design, construction, or engineering or experience in hospitality construction management
• Three+ years’ experience in hospitality construction project management.
• Ability to work remote
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or Bluebeam
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Ability to create budgets and cost analysis
• Ability to create and modify schedules
• Strong leadership qualities, strong negotiation skills, and a team player
• Ability to speak clearly and effectively with outside vendors and employees within the organization
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be very detail-oriented
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Ability to work with others to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives
