Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Norfolk, VA invites you to join as a Hospitality Aide and participate in our Nurse Aide Class. You will support caregivers, greet residents and guests, answer phones, and assist with daily needs in a warm, team‑oriented setting.

You’ll follow health and infection control policies while performing administrative tasks and helping maintain a comfortable, safe environment for residents. Training provided, growth potential available.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a high school program or be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• GED guidance available.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist caregivers to provide a safe environment and attend to residents' physical needs and comfort.
• Greet members/guests, answer the telephone, and respond to inquiries.
• Perform administrative tasks as directed and follow health and infection control policies.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of your job is to assist caregivers to provide a safe environment, give emotional and social support, and attend to the resident's physical needs and comfort. Performs supportive role to Nursing Assistants and Charge Nurse. Responsible for greeting members/guests, answering the telephone, answering inquires, and providing the service that individuals expect. Administrative tasks are also asked of this position. Performs other duties as directed by representatives of the community. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Education & Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a high school program or be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.

Shift & Wage

• Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
• Shifts Needed: Days and Evenings
  • 12-hour shifts
• Wage: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
