Job summary

Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa in Tabernash, CO, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage group and wedding deposits, invoicing, and payments with meticulous accuracy. You will post charges to the correct accounts in our property management system, monitor aging, and ensure compliance with financial policies while supporting the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles.
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software preferred.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills for working with vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of deposits due and deposits received; manage calendars for multiple groups.
• Initiate group billing accounts, files, and advance deposit invoices.
• Post receivable charges; ensure charges are posted prior to final invoicing.
• Track deposits and aging; report delinquent accounts to Controller & Sales Manager.
• Collect payment on aged accounts and move accounts from PMS to AR after final invoicing.
• Reconcile commissions; handle customer inquiries related to billing and disputes.
• Attend pre-conference and conference review meetings; support AR billing across departments.
• Assist in other areas of accounting as requested by leadership.
