Loews Coral Gables Hotel seeks an Accounting Generalist to join our finance team in Coral Gables, FL. You will support daily financial operations, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ad hoc accounting activities in support of operations and the Finance Director
• Banking and auditing cash boxes; daily deposits and petty cash
• Distribute paychecks as directed and assist in payroll workflows
• Attend pre-convention and client billing review meetings
• Conduct storeroom/receiving activities and verify purchases
• Ensure licenses/permits are renewed; monitor expiration dates
• Transmit check copies and daily logs to shared services
• Assist in preparing and distributing department reports
• Maintain files and distribute information to shared services
• Assist in responding to inquiries with data and information
• Handle inquiries via phone and refer to appropriate departments
• Support special projects for the Finance Director
• Assist in generating receiving reports and related documentation
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual inventories
• Maintain regular attendance and adapt to varying schedules
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings
