Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Oak Brook, IL is seeking an on-site Accounting professional for our Finance department. The role handles night audit tasks, city ledger postings, and credit-card reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Hotel Finance or Front Office experience; Marriott brand a plus.
• AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in hotel finance.
• 2–3 years related experience and/or training in hotel finance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication; scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Sort and verify Night Audit work, including reconciliation of banquet checks and coding.
• Post city ledger payments in the property management system and reconcile accounts.
• Reconcile credit card backups and maintain logs; bill out credit cards.
• Set up new accounts per established credit policy; assist in reconciling open items.
• Input General Cashier Summary and maintain binder; file credit warnings and returned checks.
