Job summary

E.M.A. Hospitality seeks a detail-oriented Night Auditor for a Lisle, IL property. You will reconcile nightly transactions, prepare reports, and ensure accurate accounting during the overnight shift, balancing revenues and safeguarding assets.

The ideal candidate has strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently while delivering excellent guest service during odd hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in night audit or accounting roles preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile nightly revenue and balance cash, credit cards, and other payments.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports including DOR and management reports.
• Provide exceptional guest service during overnight hours, including check-ins/check-outs.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage reservations and ensure accurate room assignments.
• Monitor security via cameras and conduct routine property patrols.
• Update guest accounts and complete end-of-day accounting procedures.
• Assist other departments during overnight shift and help with administrative tasks.
• Communicate operational issues to relevant departments for resolution.
