Ascension Health in Indiana is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join an established, employed practice within a busy hospital system. You’ll work with an experienced team of physicians and APPs and provide inpatient gastroenterology services.
Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology is required; Indiana license and DEA are expected. The role offers stability in a nonprofit health system with professional growth opportunities.

Join an established team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs
Call structure: Each week of service will include two nights of call
Practice setting: Mostly inpatient
Access to tenured physicians and APPs
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area
Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills
Eligible for Indiana state medical license and DEA registration
Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
900 bed hospital
Level 1 trauma center
Serving a population of approximately one million people

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
