Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join an established team in a facility serving a population of about 82,000. The role features a mix of inpatient/outpatient care with a strong referral base and a cap on call at 1:6, supported by 24/7 in-house hospitalists.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in GI is required, with Indiana licensure and DEA registration. The position offers leadership opportunities within Ascension’s nonprofit health system.

Your future role at a glance

The role would primarily focus on meeting the needs in the outpatient setting with a strong referral base, large employer-health clinic and very little GI competition. Inpatient load would be minimized by highly-skilled and engaged 24/7 hospitalists who manage all the admissions and discharges.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
