Job summary

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum two years of post-residency hospitalist experience.
• MD or DO with unrestricted Kansas medical license (or eligible).
• Current DEA registration and BLS or ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-time inpatient hospitalist coverage and patient care.
• Supervise advanced practice providers as the supervising physician.
• Serve as backup for nighttime NP coverage when needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Participate in quality metrics and performance improvement initiatives.

Kansas City, Kansas is seeking an experienced board-certified Hospitalist to join the hospitalist team as a day-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working inpatient care. Candidates must be comfortable working as supervising physicians for advanced practice providers on the team.
