Job summary

Providence Medical Center seeks experienced nurse practitioners to join the daytime hospitalist team for inpatient care. Candidates should have at least 2 years of inpatient NP experience and be comfortable working autonomously.

The role includes 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm), managing 18 patients per shift, and collaborating within a teaching environment. CME allowance and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• MSN with ARNP specialization and an active NP license.
• MO and KS licenses plus DEA.
• BLS certification at hire and maintain current.
• Minimum 2 years' inpatient NP experience.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR), preferably EPIC.
• Ability to work autonomously in an inpatient hospitalist setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide general patient care to inpatients across all ages.
• Conduct tests, document medical histories, and administer treatments.
• Assist physicians and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on health topics.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation in a teaching environment.

Providence Medical Center is seeking experienced nurse practitioners to join the daytime hospitalist team to care for patients in an inpatient setting. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an advanced practice provider in the inpatient setting and be comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
