Job summary

Providence Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an experienced night-time hospitalist nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join the hospitalist team in Kansas City, KS. The role offers autonomous practice within a collaborative agreement and a 7 on/7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7pm to 7am.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of NP/PA hospitalist experience, MSN/ARNP credentials, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• BLS certification on hire and maintain current.
• 1–2 years of NP hospitalist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general patient care across ages during night shifts.
• Perform tasks within license including assessments, histories, treatments, and prescribing.
• Work autonomously with collaborative practice agreement.
• Participate in hospitalist team and ensure patient safety during nights.

Kansas City, Kansas is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join the hospitalist team as a night-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an NP or PA hospitalist and be comfortable working autonomously without supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative practice agreement with supervising physicians.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
