The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our growing team at the Olathe Campus. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care within a community hospital that is fully integrated with one of the nation's leading academic health systems.
Hospitalists practice in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional clinical care while benefiting from the resources, specialty expertise, and innovation of The University of Kansas Health System. Patient care is provided through a shift-based schedule that includes day, swing, and limited night shifts, shared equitably among members of the group. A dedicated Nocturnist program is in place to support overnight coverage. The role also includes participation in call responsibilities consistent with the hospitalist practice.
As part of an integrated academic health system, physicians have opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the education of medical students and residents as appropriate. Scholarly activities, clinical research, and professional development are encouraged for those with academic interests.
