Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join our department and support our mission of high-quality patient care, teaching, and research. This is a full-time position based at Bell Hospital and Medical Pavilion, with 24/7 in-hospital coverage.

Responsibilities include inpatient care across day, swing, and some night shifts; participation in conferences; and collaboration with leadership to ensure clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent.
• Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.

The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Hospitalist who will join the team and support the departmental mission of delivering the highest quality of care, as well as satisfying teaching, research, and academic responsibilities.

About The Position

• Multiple Positions - Provide medical care on inpatient services. Patient care is provided in shift scheduling to include day, swing and limited night shifts, shared equally among members of the group. 24/7 in-hospital coverage. Limited interaction with house staff in a supervisory and triage role. Nocturnist program in place. Full sub-specialty support closed ICU.
• Participate in educational and administrative conferences as directed by immediate supervisor including participation on subcommittees relevant to area of practice or education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Division Director and/or Department Chair.

• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
