Qualified candidates have five years of hospital infection prevention experience and a nursing degree, with a strong preference for a master's in nursing and leadership exposure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHRs is expected.

Qualifications

• Five years of infection prevention experience in a hospital setting.
• Three years of leadership experience in an acute care hospital.
• Preferred: post-graduate courses in epidemiology or infection prevention.
• Clinical nursing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director in providing a hospital-wide infection control program.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates department activities to meet system goals.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and governmental policies.
• Develops data-driven improvements to protect patients and staff.
