Job summary

The role supports safe, efficient patient care by stocking Pyxis and carts, monitoring expirations, and coordinating with Nurses and the Unit Coordinator. It requires a high school diploma and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to identify clinical and environmental emergencies and follow procedures.
• Knowledge of hospital equipment, supplies, and procedures is highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication to interact with staff, patients, families and visitors.
• General office and data-entry skills including basic Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Stock Pyxis and supply carts, and restock patient rooms with supplies and linens.
• Monitor expiration dates and maintain clean and organized supply rooms.
• Assist the nursing team and unit coordinator to ensure safe, efficient patient care delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
