Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Transport Aide for the Central Transportation Department. You will move patients in wheelchairs or stretchers within the hospital, ensuring safe, timely transport to requested locations.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent), CPR/BLS, physical stamina, and excellent communication with patients and staff. The role is safety‑sensitive with Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/BLS required upon hire or obtained within the 30 days of hire.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to hospital policies
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting a plus.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• The Transport Aid is responsible for transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers as requested from various areas of the hospital and safely get them to their ordered location.
