Job summary

Jefferson Regional is seeking a Transport Aide for the Central Transportation department in Pine Bluff, AR. You will transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher across hospital areas and ensure they reach their designated locations safely.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No weekends or on-call. A high school diploma is preferred and CPR/BLS is required within 30 days of hire. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to hospital policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers to their ordered locations.
• Safely move patients and ensure correct destinations.
• Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies at all times.
