Job summary

Jefferson Regional is seeking a Transport Aide for the Central Transportation department in Pine Bluff, AR. You will transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher across hospital areas and ensure they reach their designated locations safely.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No weekends or on-call. A high school diploma is preferred and CPR/BLS is required within 30 days of hire. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to hospital policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients respectfully.

Job Summary:

The Transport Aid is responsible for transporting patients in wheelchairs or stretchers as requested from various areas of the hospital and safely get them to their ordered location.

Transport Aid Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/BLS required upon hire or obtained within the 30 days of hire.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to hospital policies
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with patients in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting a plus.
