Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Hospital Transport Aide to join our team. The Transport Aide will work with hospital staff to provide safe, courteous transport services to patients within inpatient areas, ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient transfers, using communication tools to improve efficiency, and collaborating with care teams while meeting schedules. Evening hours and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer relations, and listening abilities.
• Respect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Training in clinical procedures, infection control, body mechanics and transfer techniques.
