Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Telecommunications Representative (Access Center) to handle a high volume of calls for the medical centers and satellite departments. You will initiate emergency codes, route STAT and routine consults, and manage after-hours paging and on-call escalation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 0–2 years of customer service or call center experience, and basic phone/computer skills. Shift work includes nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years related experience preferred.
• Must have basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of inbound and outbound calls for AtlantiCare campuses.
• Initiate emergency codes and notify the Stroke team; escalate critical issues to on-call staff.
• Maintain logs, update on-call schedules, and support after-hours answering service.
