Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to ensure the functionality, safety, and compliance of hospital facility systems and equipment. You will perform advanced maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations with a focus on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

The role involves responding to urgent issues, supervising entry-level engineers when needed, and supporting operational efficiency across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or formal training in facility maintenance or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related roles required.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related roles in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and performs repairs on mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems and hospital equipment.
• Responds to work requests and pages promptly.
• Ensures maintenance activities meet safety regulations and hospital standards.
• Addresses urgent repair requests to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Performs regular inspections and maintains hospital buildings and infrastructure.
• Keeps accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assists with budget management and procurement of maintenance supplies.
